May, and we’re still waiting for the sun and air to act decent here in New York.  But at least there are new poems at FRiGG and THRUSH (thRUSh??), whose very name reminds us of the spring we’re missing.  (Sob!)  Console yourself — check out mine and the brilliant, sparkling others on a gray morning.

With poems up this month as promised at Superstition Review and unexpectedly at the University of Pittsburgh’s Hot Metal Bridge, I’ve been finding April pretty friendly… now, if only NYC could take a hint from AZ and coax its nights into as much kindness temperature-wise! In the meantime, there’s already a purple ice cream truck that makes the rounds in our neighborhood...

Have been on vacation in Phoenix, making friends with the sun again.  Last night: desert hike under the full moon.  Today: poems of mine accepted by ASU’s Superstition Review, USD’s South Dakota Review, and Pittsburgh’s Weave Magazine, three wonderful journals.  This land of palms and thorns is a charmed place! (thanks to the lovely Sue Finn for the photo!)
